On behalf of all Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum team members, I wish you a very happy holiday season. We look back at this year of adaptation which we despite the circumstances managed to fill with entrepreneurial highlights. Many in the form of webinars.
Over the year we have published several studies. One of particular importance addresses Swedish integration policy and the need to complement employment statistics with self-sufficiency statistics. In this report we outline an integration policy reform program built on three prioritized measures: Emphasis on self-sufficiency, making it easier to employ, and simplified rules for small business owners.
We are also grateful for the many opportunities for collaborations this year. Digital tools have enabled us to keep meeting and working with colleagues across the world. This year we celebrated ten years as the Swedish node of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, we also successfully co-hosted webinars with Kauffman Foundation and the OECD, as well as participated in events organized by others.
Soon we will enter 2021. Let us hope that the coming year allows for more in person meetings but for the near future we will stay in the digital space. Regardless of form, we look forward to bringing you more entrepreneurial highlights in 2021 and beyond.
Johan Eklund and the Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum team
