Per Thulin

Per Thulin is a researcher at Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum and at the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH. He received his doctorate in 2010 at KTH with the thesis “Essays on Regional Growth, Comparative Advantages and Foreign Direct Investments”.

Research Areas

Per Thulin’s main research interest lies in the areas of entrepreneurship, labor mobility and employment multipliers.

Per Thulin has published articles in, among others, Annals of Regional Science, Applied Economics Letters, European Economic Review, Industrial and Corporate Change, International Business Review, International Economic Journal, Journal of Entrepreneurship and Public Policy, Journal of Industry Competition and Trade, Journal of Regional Science, Journal of Technology Transfers, Small Business Economics and Spatial Economic Analysis.

At Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum, he is part of the Swedish GEM team.

Ongoing research projects

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, GEM, is the world’s largest entrepreneurship survey in which entrepreneurial attitudes, activities and ambitions are measured. Since 2010, Entrepreneurship Forum has been responsible for the Swedish part of GEM.
