Per Thulin

Per Thulin is a researcher at Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum and at the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH. He received his doctorate in 2010 at KTH with the thesis “Essays on Regional Growth, Comparative Advantages and Foreign Direct Investments”.

Research Areas

Per Thulin’s main research interest lies in the areas of entrepreneurship, labor mobility and employment multipliers.

Per Thulin has published articles in, among others, Journal of Technology Transfers, Spatial Economic Analysis, Annals of Regional Science, Industrial and Corporate Change and Journal of Entrepreneurship and Public Policy.

At Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum, he is part of the Swedish GEM team.

Ongoing research projects

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, GEM, is the world’s largest entrepreneurship survey in which entrepreneurial attitudes, activities and ambitions are measured. Since 2010, Entrepreneurship Forum has been responsible for the Swedish part of GEM.
