Joakim Wernberg
Joakim Wernberg is Research Director with a focus on digitization and technology development at Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum.
Research areas
His main research interests concern complexity and the interaction between technology development and society, digitization and the development of cities. Joakim has written and co-authored several reports on digitization. He is also affiliated with the Lund University Internet Institute (LUii).
In 2017, he presented his thesis in economic geography, The inherent Complexity of Agglomeration – Essays on the self-organization of urban economies at Lund University. The thesis is about how economic geography and complexity theory can be combined to describe agglomeration economies and flows of information, knowledge and ideas within cities.
